Qualification

• B.Sc Nursing
• Must be registered with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council (INC)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of clinical and/or teaching experience
• Experience in Community Health / Public Health Nursing is mandatory

Job ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Support

• Assist in theory and practical teaching for Undergraduate Nursing students
• Conduct clinical demonstrations, field teaching, and skills lab sessions
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and community posting schedules
• Support faculty in evaluating assignments, field records, and internal assessments
• Guide students in family health studies, surveys, and nursing care plans

Community & Field Practice Responsibilities

• Supervise students during urban and rural community health postings
• Participate in health education programs, school health services, and national health programs
• Assist in organizing health camps, surveys, and outreach activities
• Coordinate with PHCs, CHCs, ASHA workers, ANMs, and local health authorities

Administrative & Institutional Duties

• Maintain student attendance, field work records, and logbooks
• Assist in academic and community documentation as per INC and University norms
• Participate in departmental meetings, examinations, and institutional activities
• Support accreditation, inspections, and quality assurance processes

Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of Community Health / Public Health Nursing
• Good communication and teaching skills
• Ability to guide and motivate students in community settings
• Professional ethics and discipline
• Team-oriented approach

• Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Head of Department
