Overview of the Role

The EA digital tool consultant plays a vital role in supporting enterprise architecture and process management initiatives within the GTDP division. The consultant will lead the solution architecture team in advancing the SAP architecture strategy and optimising tools such as LeanIX and Signavio. A key emphasis is placed on effective governance, scalability and compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks, while collaborating closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The consultant also oversees architecture documentation and governance processes, ensuring that designs comply with principles and policies and manages architecture related risks.

What You Will Do

• Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor and manage the solution architecture team, fostering a high performance culture and ensuring continuous professional development.
• SAP Architecture Strategy: Own and advance the SAP architecture strategy, ensuring effective governance, scalability and alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and standards.
• Solution Architecture: Perform end to end solution architecture from requirements gathering and design through to implementation and oversight.
• Toolset Evolution: Drive the evolution and optimisation of the enterprise architecture toolset, primarily LeanIX, to support organisational goals and ensure integration with SAP methodologies.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leaders and project teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable and cost effective technical solutions.
• Architecture Governance and Documentation: Support architecture governance processes, develop and enforce standards, guidelines and best practices; oversee documentation of solution architectures.
• Risk Management and Technology Evaluation: Identify architecture related risks, implement mitigation plans and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the enterprise architecture landscape.

Required Skills

• Expertise in LeanIX and Signavio for process optimisation and business architecture management.
• Ability to manage and foster a high performance solution architecture team.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills for translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in API based integrations, GraphQL and workflow automation tools.

What Qualifies You

• 3 to 6 years of experience in enterprise architecture, business process management or related consulting roles.
• Hands on expertise in LeanIX configuration and integrations.
• Experience with Signavio Process Manager, including modelling, analysis and governance.
• Strong understanding of API based integrations, GraphQL and workflow automation tools such as Power Automate.
• Familiarity with SAP ecosystem and enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate.
• Previous experience in IT digital transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of IT portfolio management, application rationalisation and business capability modelling.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
