- Role title (proposed): UAT QA / Independent Software Quality & Testing Lead (Florida PALM)
- Work location: Tallahassee, FL — must be onsite at least 25% of the time
Minimum required qualifications (must have)
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in the proposed role (3+ years strongly preferred).
- Experience with ERP replacement projects for state/large government entities (FLAIR-to-ERP or similar).
- Experience identifying and implementing test automation for systems integrated with an ERP.
- Experience standardizing UAT across multiple agencies and prioritizing common/regression scripts.
- Experience conducting third-party (agency business) system integration testing.
- Knowledge of State/federal financial regulations and how they map to system requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication — able to engage with leadership, technical staff, SMEs, and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Project Management standards and governance.
- Able to pass a Level 2 background check with fingerprinting (Contractor expense).
- Able to complete Department mandatory trainings (Security Awareness & Florida PALM Orientation) within 10 days of start.
- US-based (all data must be stored/handled within continental US per SOW).

Key responsibilities to include in the candidate’s profile (for recruitment screening)
- Develop/execute a standardized UAT & automation testing plan across 35 agencies.
- Collect and prioritize agency test scenarios; identify common and automation candidates.
- Create test scripts (manual and automated), deploy automated suites, and train agency users.
- Validate functional/non-functional requirements and map to agency financial regulations.
- Produce deliverables on milestone schedule (project schedule, plans, reports, deployment, final assessment).
- Coordinate closely with Project Director, Contract Manager, agency SMEs, and the SSI vendor.
