UGC Creator (Summer 2026) (Short-Form Video for TikTok / Reels / Shorts)

Back home for the summer and want something flexible that actually builds skills?

We’re hiring college students to create short-form content around real student life—studying, staying consistent, and navigating summer without falling behind. This is a paid, part-time UGC role where you’ll create content, build a portfolio, and learn what actually performs on TikTok and Reels.

About King of the Curve (KOTC)

We turn lectures and study notes into interactive flashcards, quizzes, and game-style study tools that make learning feel effortless — even fun. Our platform is engaging, ADHD-friendly, and predictive of real test-day performance. Over 500,000 learners have used KOTC to boost their scores.

What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring UGC (User-Generated Content) Creators to make authentic, student-voice short-form videos for KOTC. This is NOT an influencer role — you do not need a big following.

You’ll work with expert creators to bring scripts, prompts, and concepts to life in a way that feels natural and relatable to other students.

What You’ll Create

• Storytimes / “yapping” content (e.g., study struggles → what actually worked)
• Trend-based content (memes, sounds, formats adapted to the experiences of students/KOTC users).
• App demos (native-style) (e.g., a narrated screen recording of a fake convo randomly texting your bio professor you made it onto the KOTC leaderboard, etc.)
• Reaction-style videos (live or silent reactions to features, scores, progress, etc.)
• Testimonial-style UGC (natural, unscripted, does not feel like an ad)

What You’ll Do

• Film original short-form videos from your phone
• Deliver scripted lines naturally or riff around prompts
• Capture real student experiences and perspectives
• Edit for short-form pacing (hooks, captions, jump cuts)
• Create variations of content to test performance
• Iterate based on feedback from our team

What You Bring

• Current college student or recent graduate
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Comfort on camera
• Basic editing skills (CapCut, TikTok editor, etc.)
• Strong sense of what feels authentic and relatable

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience creating UGC or short-form content
• Strong understanding of trends and formats
• Interest in content creation, marketing, or social media
