Position Summary

We are offering a paid internship for a motivated and curious UI/UX Design student or recent graduate. This role is designed to provide immersive, hands-on experience in a professional agency setting. Under the guidance of our senior designers, you will contribute to live client projects, learn industry-standard processes, and develop a robust foundational skill set in digital design, with a focus on Figma.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Design Support & Execution

· Assist the design team in creating user interface mockups, wireframes, and simple prototypes using Figma.

· Help prepare and organize design assets for client presentations and developer handoff.

· Conduct basic competitor analysis and user research audits to support project discovery.

2. Learning & Development

· Participate in all stages of the design process under supervision, from brief to final asset preparation.

· Learn to apply fundamental UI/UX principles, including layout, typography, color, and interaction design.

· Gain exposure to designing for web content management systems (CMS) like WordPress and Shopify.

3. Collaboration

· Attend team meetings, client kick-offs (as observers), and design reviews.

· Collaborate with team members by receiving feedback on your work and incorporating it effectively.

· Learn how to work within an established design system and follow brand guidelines.

4. Operational Tasks

· Aid in the maintenance and organization of design files and libraries in Figma.

· Contribute to internal projects, such as creating case study visuals or marketing materials.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

· Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent self-directed learning).

· Foundational understanding of UI and UX design principles.

· Basic to intermediate proficiency with Figma is essential.

· A portfolio or collection of academic/personal projects that demonstrates an interest in digital design, problem-solving, and Figma skills.

· Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and grow professionally.

· Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

· Familiarity with other design tools (Adobe Creative Suite).

· A basic understanding of how websites are built (no coding skills required).

· A proactive and positive attitude.
