Job Description

Expandabley is hiring a UI/UX Designer with 3 to 4 years of experience, strong technical knowledge, and a proven, wide ranging portfolio. You will design end to end user experiences for web and mobile, from research and flows to prototypes, UI, and developer handoff. Your work will support marketing funnels, websites, and product interfaces that serve multilingual audiences.

Responsibilities

• Turn requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Design responsive web and mobile interfaces with clean layout, typography, and spacing
• Run quick research and usability tests, then iterate based on findings
• Build and maintain design systems, components, and tokens for consistency and speed
• Prepare developer ready specs and support implementation during build and QA
• Use analytics and user feedback to improve shipped features
• Present work clearly to stakeholders and document decisions

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of hands on UI/UX experience in a product, agency, or startup setting
• A strong portfolio with multiple case studies that show problem, process, and results
• Fluency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, and prototyping
• Solid grasp of UX fundamentals: IA, interaction design, usability heuristics, accessibility
• Visual design skills: layout, typography, color, and detail
• Technical knowledge: working HTML and CSS, ability to read basic JavaScript, comfort discussing feasibility with developers
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Clear communication and ability to explain design choices

Nice to have

• Motion and microinteraction work using After Effects, Principle, or Lottie
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and accessibility testing tools
• Experience with analytics and A/B testing tools like GA4, Hotjar, or Optimizely
• Multilingual experience across Arabic, English, or French
