Summary

Phaedra Solutions is seeking a creative and user-focused UI/UX Designer with 3–4 years of professional experience to join our product and design team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about crafting engaging digital experiences and solving complex user problems through intuitive design. You will play a key role in shaping the look, feel, and usability of web and mobile applications, working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience Design

• Translate business and user requirements into intuitive and functional user interfaces.
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Develop user flows, journey maps, and wireframes to visualize and refine user experiences.
• Create prototypes to test interaction and visual ideas before development.

User Interface Design

• Design clean, modern, and consistent UI for web and mobile platforms.
• Create pixel-perfect mockups and visual assets for development teams.
• Ensure design consistency across all digital products and platforms.
• Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Work alongside product and project managers to deliver design solutions aligned with user needs and business goals.
• Present design concepts clearly and effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to internal design knowledge sharing and design reviews.
• Seek feedback regularly and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.

Great if the candidate has Prior Knowledge of tools like:

• Figma (Design/ Prototyping), Miro
• Adobe (Photoshop / Illustrator etc.)
• Google's Ecosystem (Word /Sheet etc.)
• Knowledge of AI Workflows
• AI Assisted Design tools (ChatGPT / Mid journey etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a tech or software company.
• Proven experience designing for both web and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).

Skills

• Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
• Familiarity with responsive design, design systems, and accessibility standards.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus for better collaboration with developers.
• Excellent attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
