Ui/Ux Intern

Octet Solutions is a Canadian Company with diverse portfolio of Saas, Education, Immigration, Management, Restaurant and Construction Industry. We are hiring UI/UX Interns for competitor UX analysis, feature exploration, and design reasoning. Ideal for individuals who want real exposure to SaaS product flows and modern UX decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Research all possible UX variations of a feature, including layouts, flows, and alternatives.
• Identify primary, secondary, and advanced use cases from a user perspective.
• Analyze UX best practices and explain why a competitor implemented a feature’s UI in a specific way.
• Maintain complete competitor UX records (screenshots, videos, flows, emotional notes).
• Evaluate each feature from a marketing + user adoption perspective, will users understand it quickly? will it convert?
• Generate out-of-the-box UI/UX ideas based on global standards.
• Challenge design ideas with user logic, research insights, and usability reasoning.
• Support the R&D team with wireframes, flows, and documented UX recommendations.

Requirements

• Degree in UI/UX, HCI, Design, Computer Science, or related field.
• Understanding of design patterns, user flows, and accessibility.
• Ability to reverse-engineer competitor interfaces.
• Knowledge of Figma or similar tools is a plus.
• Creativity + strong reasoning ability.

Timings: Mon- Fri ( 9 am - 6 pm), On-site

Stipend: 15K + 10K (allowance)
