We are seeking a highly skilled candidate with strong expertise in UK financial and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have an accounting or finance background and prior experience supporting UK-based clients. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial tasks in compliance with UK laws and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and financial support to clients based in the UK.
- Assist with UK tax compliance tasks, including VAT returns, PAYE, self-assessments, and corporation tax preparation.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bookkeeping using UK-compliant accounting practices.
- Liaise with UK accountants, HMRC, and financial institutions on behalf of clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and organize financial statements, expense reports, and budget forecasts.
- Monitor deadlines for filings, submissions, and regulatory compliance.
- Support clients with general administrative tasks such as scheduling, email management, and document organization, when required.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and secure handling of financial and client data.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accountant, or Finance Executive working with UK-based clients.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations, VAT, payroll, and HMRC requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or FreeAgent).
- Excellent skills in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
