UK Standards Accountant & Compliance Officer

We are looking for an experienced Accountant and Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be ACCA‑qualified with at least five years of UK experience in accounting and compliance. This role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and industry regulations.
• Support external audits with documentation and reconciliations.
• Identify and mitigate financial and compliance risks.
• Develop and implement internal controls and compliance policies.
• Communicate financial and compliance updates to management.

Qualifications

• ACCA qualification (required).
• Minimum 5 years of UK accounting and compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and corporate governance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
