Upholstery Work

• Upholster sofas, chairs, and other furniture according to design specifications and patterns.
• Measure, cut, and sew fabrics or leather accurately.
• Apply padding, foam, springs, and other cushioning materials correctly.
• Stretch and fix upholstery materials neatly and securely.

B. Repair & Maintenance

• Repair damaged furniture frames, springs, and fabric/leather coverings.
• Replace worn-out materials, foam, or cushions when needed.
• Restore furniture to original or improved condition as per client or project requirements.

C. Fit-Out Coordination

• Work closely with carpentry, finishing, and interior teams to meet project schedules.
• Ensure upholstered furniture is delivered and installed safely at site.

D. Quality & Finishing

• Inspect finished furniture for quality, alignment, and appearance.
• Maintain consistency in stitching, seams, and patterns.
• Ensure final products meet company and client standards.

E. Tools & Material Management

• Use hand tools, sewing machines, staplers, and other upholstery equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory of fabrics, foam, leather, and hardware.
• Handle materials carefully to minimize waste.

F. Safety & Compliance

• Follow workshop and site safety rules, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
