Upwork Bidder

Code Genesis is looking for a dedicated Upwork Bidder / Sales Associate who will be responsible for generating business opportunities through Upwork and similar freelance platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in proposal writing, client communication, lead qualification, and closing deals for IT or digital services.
This role requires a results-driven professional who understands client requirements, crafts winning proposals, and builds long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively search and identify relevant projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms
• Write customized, high-conversion proposals based on client requirements
• Communicate with prospects through chat and calls to understand project scope
• Qualify leads and coordinate with technical teams for accurate estimates
• Follow up with prospects and maintain response timelines
• Maintain proposal pipeline and bid tracking reports
• Negotiate pricing and project terms with clients
• Convert leads into long-term clients
• Maintain a high success rate and profile performance metrics
• Suggest improvements to bidding strategy and proposal templates

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Upwork bidding or freelance platform sales
• Strong proposal writing and business communication skills
• Understanding of IT/software/web/mobile development services
• Ability to analyze client requirements quickly
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Organized and target-driven mindset
• Familiarity with CRM or lead tracking tools is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken English
