Upwork Bidder/Business Developer

Bitsclan is looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities through online freelance marketplaces and other digital channels, preparing tailored proposals, and building strong client relationships to support company growth.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in online bidding, client communication, and proposal development, with a strong understanding of IT services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess relevant business opportunities on freelance marketplaces and digital platforms.
  • Prepare customized, professional proposals aligned with client requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with potential and existing clients to understand needs and expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (development, design, content, etc.) to gather project details before submitting proposals.
  • Follow up on submitted proposals and manage ongoing client discussions.
  • Assist in negotiating project scope, timelines, and pricing in line with company policies.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Track and report bidding activity, conversions, and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, online bidding, or a similar sales-focused role.
  • Practical exposure to managing freelance marketplace profiles and client interactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive proposals.
  • Basic understanding of IT services such as web development, mobile applications, design, or digital marketing.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in lead generation through additional channels such as professional networking platforms or email outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools for managing leads and client communication.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
