With two active Upwork profiles boasting over $150,000 in combined earnings, we are seeking a talented Upwork Bidder / Business Development Manager to drive lead generation and secure high-value projects on Upwork and similar platforms.

About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to excel in Upwork bidding and lead generation within the IT industry. Your primary responsibility will be to identify high-potential projects, craft compelling proposals, and convert leads into lasting client relationships. This role requires a strategic approach to bidding, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of our core services to achieve a minimum target of $4,000/month in project acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and bid on relevant Upwork projects that align with our core services:
  • Website design and development (Angular/React, MEAN/MERN stacks) with a focus on conversion optimization and UX/UI.
  • Mobile app development (Flutter).
  • CRM, ERP, and AI-powered workflow automation integrations.
  • Develop and submit customized, high-quality proposals showcasing our case studies, results, and unique value proposition (e.g., measurable outcomes like conversion increases, operational efficiencies, and revenue growth).
  • Follow strict project selection criteria to avoid wasting Connects, focusing on budget, client history, and alignment with our expertise.
  • Proactively follow up with prospects to secure discovery calls for our sales team.
  • Maintain organized tracking of bids submitted, responses received, and calls booked.
  • Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to align project goals and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Provide feedback on bidding performance and suggest improvements to optimize strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding or business development, preferably in the IT/tech domain (web and mobile app development).
  • Strong understanding of web development (Angular/React, MEAN/MERN), mobile app development (Flutter), and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for crafting professional proposals and engaging with international clients.
  • Self-driven with strong time management, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet sales targets.

Performance Metrics

  • Number of qualified proposals submitted daily/weekly.
  • Proposal-to-response conversion rate.
  • Number of booked calls with qualified leads.
