Upwork Bidder/ Part Time

About the Role

We are hiring an Upwork Project Hunter whose primary responsibility is to find and bring projects for our company through Upwork. The candidate must be proactive, consistent, and skilled at identifying the right opportunities, crafting personalized proposals, and bringing clients into the pipeline. This role is entirely focused on hunting, bidding, and securing projects for our software, AI, and digital marketing departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Search for relevant projects daily in:
• Software & Web Development
• AI Automation, AI Tools, Bots
• Digital Marketing & Branding
• Analyze job descriptions and shortlist best-fit opportunities.
• Prepare high-quality, customized proposals tailored to client needs.
• Maintain a high daily bidding volume with consistency.
• Respond to client messages promptly and professionally.
• Ask clarifying questions to fully understand project details.
• Coordinate with internal team (when needed) to prepare:
• Estimates
• Timelines
• Project breakdowns
• Assist in scheduling discovery calls with the team.

Bringing Projects to the Company

• Convert Upwork leads into active conversations.
• Build trust with clients through strong communication.
• Push towards closing small, medium, and long-term projects.
• Maintain follow-up sequences to maximize conversion rates.

Reporting

• Maintain a daily log of:
• Bids sent
• Responses received
• Projects shortlisted
• Projects won / lost
• Share weekly performance summaries.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Upwork bidding (1–2 years preferred).
• Excellent English communication and proposal writing.
• Ability to understand client needs and propose relevant solutions.

Knowledge of:

• Web/App development basics
• AI automation concepts
• Digital marketing services
• Strong research, critical thinking, and client handling skills.
• Highly proactive with strong time management.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other platforms (Fiverr, Bark, PPH, Freelancer).
• Ability to prepare simple SOWs and project outlines.
• Experience in writing winning proposals with high conversion.
