We’re looking for an Upwork Bidder for Technical Projects who is skilled in identifying business opportunities, writing persuasive proposals, and building strong client relationships to drive company growth.

Position Overview:

The Upwork Bidder (Technical Projects) will be responsible for generating business opportunities through Upwork and other freelancing platforms, focusing on AI, software development, and IT-related projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of technical services, strong communication and writing skills, and a passion for achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and bid on relevant AI, IT, and software development projects through Upwork and similar platforms.
  • Write clear, customized, and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize the company’s Upwork profile to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand project scopes and prepare accurate, compelling proposals.
  • Communicate with potential clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Track and manage all bidding activities, client responses, and project progress using CRM or tracking tools.
  • Conduct regular research to identify new opportunities and market trends.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly bidding and conversion targets.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term collaboration.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field).
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Upwork bidding, lead generation, or sales for technical or IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of technical services such as AI, software development, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and proposal writing skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, and freelancing platforms is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Upwork algorithms, profile optimization, and bidding best practices.
  • Basic understanding of AI, Machine Learning, SaaS, or custom software solutions.
  • Experience with LinkedIn lead generation and email outreach campaigns.
  • Creative and proactive mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
