Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and goal-driven Upwork/Fiverr Bidder to join our growing creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential clients for our video editing services, managing communications across freelancing platforms, generating leads through strategic outreach, and building long-term client relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of digital sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to position our editing services effectively in a competitive market.
Job Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Outreach:
- Identify and connect with potential clients looking for video editing solutions via email, LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, cold outreach and other freelancing platforms.
- Pitch video editing services through customized, well-written proposals and direct messaging.
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and potential industries (e.g. influencers, YouTubers, marketing agencies, brands).
- Follow up regularly with leads to maximize conversion.
Client Relationship Management:
- Engage with clients to understand their specific editing needs and propose creative solutions.
- Ensure smooth on-boarding of new clients and maintain ongoing support throughout and after project completion.
- Upsell or cross-sell additional video-related services where applicable.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the project life-cycle to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Plan and execute outreach campaigns to drive lead generation for video editing services.
- Develop sales decks, pricing proposals, and promotional materials as needed.
- Track sales performance, client interactions, and pipeline updates regularly.
Data Tracking & Reporting:
- Maintain well-organized records of all leads, proposals, client feedback, and project statuses using Excel, Google Sheets, or a CRM tool.
- Generate regular reports on outreach efforts, conversion rates, and client retention.
Team Collaboration & Growth:
- Collaborate with the creative and editing teams to align on deliverables, timelines, and client expectations.
- Share insights on client needs and market trends to help refine offerings and improve service quality.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve conversion rates, customer experience, and sales processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in freelancing platform bidding, sales, or client acquisition.
- Familiarity with video editing workflows and industry terminology is a must.
- Experience with Upwork, Fiverr, or similar freelance platforms.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
