Urdu Storyteller Intern

We are seeking a talented and expressive Urdu Storyteller to craft and narrate engaging stories for our [digital platform / YouTube channel / podcast / educational program / app]. The ideal candidate has a strong command of the Urdu language, a captivating voice, and a passion for storytelling that connects with diverse audiences — especially children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, or write original stories in Urdu for audio, video, or live formats
• Narrate stories with emotion, clarity, and authenticity
• Record high-quality voiceovers or perform live storytelling sessions
• Collaborate with writers, illustrators, and editors to enhance storytelling impact
• Localize existing content for Urdu-speaking audiences if needed
• Ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy and appropriateness
• Participate in brainstorming and content planning sessions

Qualifications:

• Proficient in spoken and written Urdu
• Excellent storytelling, narration, and voice acting skills
• Experience in writing or performing Urdu stories, poetry, or drama preferred
• Comfortable using audio recording tools (or willing to learn)
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and themes relevant to Urdu-speaking audiences
• Creativity, imagination, and a love for language and literature
