Urgent Care Provider

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Urgent Care Provider provides medical services to patients; collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services, primarily in a clinical environment.
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Master of Science degree from a NLN accredited graduate program required.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner.
- Licensed to practice in State of Iowa in the expanded role.
- Mandatory Reporter of Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Certificate.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Prefer two or more years of practice in the expanded role.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others.
- Maintains commitment and enthusiasm to goal achievement.
- Excellent team player and communication skills required
