URGENT: WordPress Developer (Full Stack) On-site - Contract Based

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement custom WordPress themes and templates.
• Expert use of Elementor, Divi, and Gutenberg editor.
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs to WordPress with pixel-perfect accuracy.
• Plugin customization and custom plugin development.
• Set up and maintain multilingual websites (WPML / Polylang).
• Build and manage global templates and reusable block systems.
• Develop E-commerce websites with WooCommerce.
• Implement webhooks and API integrations.
• Handle website migration and redesign projects.
• Apply SEO best practices and configure SEO plugins (Yoast, RankMath, AIOSEO).
• Integrate AI solutions (chatbots, content automation, personalization).
• Use AI agents to automate repetitive/manual tasks.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
• Set up payment gateways and shipping integrations (PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
• Ensure responsive, mobile-first, and cross-browser compatible designs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong knowledge of WordPress Core, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Advanced experience with Elementor, Divi, and Gutenberg.
• Hands-on expertise in custom theme and plugin development.
• Strong experience with WooCommerce and E-commerce functionality.
• Familiarity with REST API & GraphQL integration.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
• Understanding of server & hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, AWS, Cloudways).
• Knowledge of website security, SSL, and best practices.
• Strong SEO knowledge including structured data (Schema.org, OpenGraph, JSON-LD).
• Performance optimization (caching, CDN, Cloudflare, etc.).
• Experience with AI-powered website builders/tools (Jasper, Base44, Framer AI, etc.).
• Ability to manage webhooks and third-party integrations.

• Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Knowledge of React or Vue.js frameworks.
• Experience with Headless CMS and JAMstack architecture.
• Familiarity with Shopify or Webflow as additional CMS platforms.
• Ability to train or integrate AI agents for workflow automation.

• Minimum 3+ years of proven WordPress development experience.
• Strong portfolio of WordPress projects (E-commerce, corporate, landing pages, blogs).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
