U.S. Insurance Specialist

Location: DHA Phase 8, Lahore (On-site)

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Timing: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Insurance Specialist to support a growing U.S. independent insurance operation. This role services commercial and personal lines clients, obtains competitive quotes, coordinates renewals, manages policy changes, communicates with carriers, and helps deliver a first-class client experience.

The right person communicates clearly, stays organized under pressure, takes ownership of open tasks, and solves problems before they affect the client. Commercial insurance experience is preferred; we will train a strong candidate with proven administrative and customer service skills.

Prior experience with U.S. insurance carriers or an independent agency is strongly preferred for this role.

Primary Responsibilities

Commercial Insurance

  • Market new and renewal accounts to multiple admitted and surplus lines carriers
  • Obtain competitive quotes for General Liability, Business Owners Policies, Commercial Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Professional Liability, Cyber Liability, EPLI, Umbrella and Excess Liability, Inland Marine, and Directors and Officers coverage
  • Prepare professional comparisons of coverages, exclusions, deductibles, limits, and premiums
  • Review policies for coverage gaps and identify opportunities to improve protection or value
  • Follow up with underwriters to negotiate pricing, credits, exceptions, and coverage enhancements
  • Request loss runs, update applications, and track inspections and underwriting requirements through completion

Personal Lines

  • Quote and service homeowners, high-value homes, condo, renters, dwelling fire, personal auto, umbrella, earthquake, flood, and valuable articles coverage
  • Compare multiple carriers and summarize recommendations in clear client-facing language
  • Process endorsements and policy changes, assist with renewals, and remarket accounts when appropriate

Client Service

  • Answer incoming calls professionally and respond to client emails promptly
  • Process Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property Insurance, Auto ID Cards, and mortgagee changes
  • Order loss runs and inspections, request missing documents, and follow up on outstanding requirements
  • Assist clients with billing questions and claim reporting
  • Track claim status with carriers and keep clients informed
  • Schedule renewal review meetings and maintain clear notes for every open item

Policy Servicing

  • Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy rewrites
  • Review renewal policies for accuracy, including premiums, limits, deductibles, mortgage information, and insured details
  • Confirm completed changes, issued policies, and supporting documents are saved correctly in the agency management system

Carrier Relations

Communicate regularly with major admitted and surplus lines carriers to:

  • Follow up on underwriting and policy issuance
  • Negotiate pricing and request available credits
  • Seek underwriting exceptions and coverage improvements
  • Confirm inspections and track requirements to completion

Renewal Management

  • Review renewal offers and identify material premium or coverage changes
  • Complete renewal marketing at least 45 days before expiration
  • Remarket accounts when premiums increase significantly or coverage needs change
  • Prepare side-by-side comparisons and recommend the best carrier option
  • Communicate renewal recommendations and follow up through binding
  • Track every renewal deadline and prevent avoidable lapses

Documentation

Maintain complete, accurate electronic files for applications, quotes, policies, endorsements, certificates, inspection reports, loss runs, carrier correspondence, signed documents, and renewal proposals.

Sales and Producer Support

  • Follow up on quote opportunities and schedule producer appointments
  • Prepare proposal packets and request missing underwriting information
  • Obtain signatures, collect broker fees, and assist with binding new business

Claims Support

  • Help clients report claims and gather supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with adjusters and follow up with carriers
  • Keep insureds updated throughout the claim process
  • Maintain timely, accurate claim notes in the agency management system

Tools & Systems

Familiarity with the following types of tools is expected:

  • Agency management systems (e.g., QQ Catalyst or similar)
  • Microsoft Outlook and Google Workspace for communication
  • Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign for documents and analysis
  • Payment and rating platforms (e.g., ePayPolicy, carrier portals, comparative rating systems)
  • Familiarity with AI-powered agency tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of insurance experience
  • Commercial insurance and independent agency experience
  • Experience with agency management systems
  • Experience reading policies and declarations
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience preparing insurance comparisons

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
