Volvo Cars Bend, a subsidiary of Time Auto Group, is looking for an Used Car Buyer to join our growing team!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Qualifications:

  • 1 year previous Used Car Buyer experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred.
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends.
  • Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred.
  • Ready to waste no time on learning new product ins and outs, eager to improve.
  • Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the reconditioning process for used and inventory vehicles.
  • Oversee Lot Attendants and photographers, ensuring that they maintain the organization and presentation of our vehicle inventory.
  • Works with Vin Solutions and General Manager to maintain optimal used inventory levels.
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving or denying requested work on Used Vehicle Inspection (UVI) reports.
  • Coordinates post-sale reconditioning and service tasks.
  • Responsible for conducting thorough VIN inspections on all used vehicles, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Works closely with the service department and business office to ensure that new vehicles are prepped and ready for delivery to customers.
  • Responsible for creating and affixing all necessary stickers.
  • Collaborates consistently with the service department.
  • Verifies and confirms vehicle features listed in online listings are accurate and reflect the actual condition and specifications of the vehicle's.
  • In cases of vehicle repossession, you will be involved in coordinating the process and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversees the Key Track system, ensuring the safe and accountable handling of keys to dealership vehicles.
  • Initial point of contact if the store alarm is triggered, taking appropriate actions to ensure the security of the dealership.
  • Assists in facilitating audits by finance partners, such as Ally, to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Responsible for accurately coding and processing invoices from vendors in a timely manner.
  • Purchase parts and pickup from dealers If necessary.
  • Coordinate pickup/drop off of parts and vehicles from dealers or vendors.
  • Serves as the administrator for reconditioning software, ensuring data accuracy and system functionality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
