USER INTERFACE DESIGNER

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: Through the end of 2026 (potential to extend)
Compensation Range: $40 - 45 per hour
Onsite Requirement: 4 days onsite in Philadelphia, PA with 1 work-from-home day

We are seeking a User Interface Designer to join our client’s Experience Design team, where you will be the creative force behind high-impact, on-brand digital experiences. In this role, you will balance pixel-perfect campaign designs with strategic merchandising, ensuring that every landing page and user flow is built with a stellar customer experience at its core. You aren't just designing pages; you are crafting intuitive journeys that meet both sophisticated business objectives and evolving customer needs.

As a key collaborator, you will work closely with Creative Directors to deliver seamless designs for both web and mobile spaces. You’ll also serve as a strategic partner to our content, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring every digital touchpoint aligns with our broader omnichannel strategy. If you have a passion for eCommerce, a sharp eye for lead generation, and a portfolio that proves you can turn a complex marketing tactic into a high-converting digital experience, we want to see your work.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with highly accurate visual designs, user flows, screen prototypes and detailed design specifications for existing and new product offers and pages.
• Experience with Global Design Systems, communicating with developer partners to ensure proper implementation of rules and tokens.
• Design innovative and effective components that abide by established patterns and interaction conventions for web, mobile and other digital delivery platforms.
• Champion and use the principles of accessible design to create meaningful visual designs and components.
• Support UX Research partners with design work for User Experience studies.
• Support usability and/or A/B test studies and surveys.
• Advocate for consistency, clarity, and ease of use for our customers.

Qualifications:

• 2 - 4 years user experience and/or interaction design experience developing digital interfaces that focus on sales and marketing driven results.
• Work on multiple projects at once, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and showing the agility needed to deliver on time and to standard.
• Ability to distill and organize large amounts of complex information into simple, usable application designs.
• Proficiency with rapid prototyping tools as well as industry standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Possess strong technical acumen and an ability to understand new technologies.
• Familiarity with fundamentals of web and mobile OS.
• Familiarity with designing for CMS and component-based systems, as well as design delivery to content-management and development teams that support build-out of those systems.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills (both technical and non-technical).
• Skilled in designing applications that achieve both user and business objectives.
• Awareness of industry and competitor best practices.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

• Education Level - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
• Field of Study - Graphic Design, User Experience, Interaction Design, HCI, Information Sciences, Technology.
