UV PRINTER FLATBEDDED

Key Responsibilities

• Operation and Production: Operate UV flatbed printing machines according to manufacturer guidelines and job specifications. This includes loading and aligning materials (substrates) onto the printer bed.
• Print Job Management: Prepare digital files for printing using Raster Image Processor (RIP) software, managing color profiles, scaling images, and nesting designs to maximize material usage.
• Quality Control: Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent color accuracy, registration, and overall print quality. Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the printer, including printhead cleaning and checking ink levels. Troubleshoot minor technical issues to minimize downtime, escalating complex problems to service technicians when needed.
• Safety and Organization: Adhere to safety protocols when working with UV lights, inks, and cleaning solvents. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with graphic designers, production managers, and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
• Documentation: Accurately record production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
