EATS2SEATS is a student-founded startup rooted in Chapel Hill, NC, operating across 50+ venues in 10+ states and 20+ colleges nationwide. We provide high-level concessions and staffing solutions for collegiate and professional sporting events, concerts, and large-scale venues.

Internship Overview

The RMC (Regional Marketing Coordinator) Internship is designed for high-level operators and marketing-minded students who want real responsibility in a fast-growing startup.

You will own UVA as your primary market while also leading and managing brand ambassadors across multiple campuses, helping scale EATS2SEATS regionally.

You’ll work directly under the Director of Marketing while building systems that drive growth not just at UVA, but across a network of schools.

ResponsibilitiesMarketing Operations & Strategy

  • Track and analyze sign-ups, campaign performance, and growth metrics
  • Build and optimize recruitment funnels tailored to UVA and partner campuses

Paid Ads & Performance Marketing

  • Monitor and optimize Meta ad campaigns targeting Charlottesville and surrounding campuses
  • Analyze performance data and iterate on strategy

Campus & Ambassador Leadership

  • Lead brand ambassador recruitment and management across multiple campuses
  • Oversee performance, communication, and accountability of campus teams
  • Build relationships with organizations, clubs, and student leaders
  • Drive on-campus awareness through activations, events, and partnerships

Regional Oversight

  • Act as the central point of coordination for multiple campus markets
  • Ensure brand consistency and execution quality across schools
  • Support expansion into new campuses

Creative Execution

  • Design and distribute marketing materials across UVA (flyers, digital boards, org outreach)
  • Execute campaigns that feel native to college culture

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Regional Staffing Directors and leadership across campuses
  • Contribute to strategy through meetings and ideation sessions

Compensation

  • $12/hour (Paid Training Period)
  • $15/hour (Fall – full-scale operations)

Who We’re Looking For

  • UVA students who want to build something on their campus and beyond
  • Self-starters who take initiative and operate independently
  • Strong communicators who can lead teams and manage people
  • Students pursuing Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields
  • Prior leadership experience (clubs, orgs, teams) strongly preferred

Program Timeline

  • Paid Training Period: May 25 – August 6
  • Internship Period: August 6 – December 1
