UX Associate Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Lead UX to join our team. You will be responsible for guiding the design and development of high-quality, user-centric digital experiences. In this leadership role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineering teams, ensuring the successful integration of design and technology. You will set the direction for user experience strategies and mentor a growing team of UX engineers to deliver seamless and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end UX design process for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research, interviews, journey mapping, and storyboarding to understand user needs and behaviour.
• Develop and implement information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.
• Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across platforms.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals.
• Utilize design thinking methodologies to solve complex user experience challenges.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and UX best practices are integrated into designs.
• Drive innovation by staying up to date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies.
• Effectively communicate design ideas and decisions through presentations and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• 7+ years of experience in User Experience Design for enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of web and mobile UX principles and best practices.
• Advanced skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in building and managing design systems.
• Highly creative and inquisitive, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in interaction design and user interface building.
• Certified Usability Expert (HFI) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced software development environment with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines

Technical Proficiency:

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with a wide range of design tools, including the Adobe CS5 Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, InVision, Axure RP, Balsamiq, OmniGraffle, and Sketch. Additionally, a strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and other modern front-end frameworks is required to effectively collaborate with development teams.
