Help Wanted: Vehicle Transport Dispatcher

About the PositionWe are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our vehicle transport team. This role is responsible for coordinating drivers, scheduling pickups and deliveries, communicating with customers, and ensuring efficient, on-time transport operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and solves problems quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and dispatch drivers for vehicle pickups and deliveries. Communicate with customers, dealerships, auctions, and transport partners. Track driver locations, load status, and delivery timelines. Update dispatch software with accurate notes, times, and route details. Provide drivers with clear instructions, load information, and route guidance. Monitor transport progress and proactively resolve delays or issues. Verify paperwork, BOLs, and delivery documentation. Maintain strong working relationships with drivers and customers.

Qualifications

Experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or related field preferred. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure. Familiarity with dispatch or TMS software (training available). Knowledge of DOT regulations and transport industry standards is a plus. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
