Halabh is an e-commerce marketplace in Bahrain selling electronics, home appliances, and everyday essentials. We’re growing our vendor network and looking for a hands-on Vendor Coordinator who can build relationships with local suppliers and keep our inventory and promotions running smoothly.
Role Summary
As a Vendor Coordinator, you will source and onboard wholesale dealers and suppliers in Bahrain, negotiate promotional deals, coordinate pricing and stock availability, and ensure inventory updates are accurate and timely. This is a field + office role, requiring strong communication skills, local market knowledge, and a valid Bahrain driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Sourcing & Outreach
- Identify and contact wholesale dealers, distributors, and local suppliers across Bahrain.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of new vendors and promotional partners.
- Schedule supplier visits, meetings, and follow-ups to close deals.
Negotiation & Deal Coordination
- Negotiate pricing, promotional bundles, and special offers for seasonal campaigns (e.g., Ramadan, Back-to-School, weekend deals).
- Coordinate terms such as payment, delivery timelines, returns, warranties, and after-sales support (as applicable).
- Ensure vendor agreements are documented and aligned with Halabh’s margins and business goals.
Inventory & Catalog Updates
- Collect and update inventory availability, pricing, and product specifications from vendors on a regular basis.
- Coordinate product listings details with internal team (SKU, images, specifications, warranty, barcode/EAN when available).
- Track out-of-stock items, restock timelines, and replacements/alternatives.
Operations & Vendor Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor communication (WhatsApp/email/calls/visits).
- Resolve day-to-day vendor issues related to stock discrepancies, delivery delays, or pricing changes.
- Support promotional execution by ensuring vendors can fulfill offer quantities within the campaign period.
Reporting & Coordination
- Provide weekly updates on:
- New vendor leads contacted and onboarded
- Deals in progress / closed promotions
- Stock status and key inventory risks
- Maintain organized vendor records, price lists, and product/inventory sheets.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Experience in Bahrain’s local market (vendors, distributors, wholesale, retail supply chain, or procurement).
- Must have own car and valid Bahrain driving licence and willingness to travel for vendor visits and product pickups & drops when needed.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills (Arabic is a strong advantage).
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic tools (Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp Business, Outlook).
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple vendors and product lines at once.
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
- Build an active pipeline of qualified wholesale vendors.
- Close multiple promotional deals with clear quantities, pricing, and delivery terms.
- Improve inventory accuracy and reduce stock-related order issues.
- Establish a repeatable weekly process for vendor updates and reporting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: BD300.000 - BD400.000 per month
