Overview:

Titan, a leading jewellery brand, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vendor Coordinator to join our Sourcing Office team in Mumbai. As the Vendor Coordinator for Gold Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the sourcing of gold materials from various vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard new gold vendors to expand our sourcing network
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality control
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure competitive rates and favorable terms for the company
• Monitor and track vendor performance and provide regular reports to management
• Collaborate with internal teams such as design, production, and quality control to ensure smooth and efficient sourcing processes
• Stay updated on market trends and prices to make informed decisions on sourcing strategies
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of vendor facilities to ensure compliance with company standards and ethical practices
• Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and professional manner
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve and optimize sourcing processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor management and sourcing, preferably in the jewellery industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Additional Parameters:

• Knowledge of gold sourcing and supply chain management
• Understanding of international trade and customs regulations
• Familiarity with ethical sourcing practices and sustainability initiatives
• Fluency in local languages and English
• Experience working with ERP systems is a plus

Work Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduation.
• 3–5 years of experience in vendor coordination or procurement, preferably in the jewellery or luxury goods sector.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
