Vendor development (Hindi Voice)

We are looking for a dynamic and field-focused executive who can source trucks for our logistics operations and handle customer payment collections as per company policy. This role is crucial for ensuring vehicle availability and maintaining healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities1. Truck Sourcing & Vendor Development

• Identify and onboard new truck owners, fleet operators, and market brokers.
• Source various vehicle types (LCV, DOST, 17ft, 19ft, 20ft, 22ft, Open/Closed Body, Taurus, Trailers, etc.).
• Build strong networks in local transport markets to ensure daily truck availability.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates while maintaining service quality.
• Coordinate with operations team for trip confirmation and vehicle placement.
• Maintain a database of transporters and ensure repeat business.
• Ensure proper documentation from truck owners (RC, insurance, driver ID, etc.).

2. Customer Payment Collection

• Collect payments from To-Pay customers within 5 days of bill generation (as per company policy).
• Follow up with Paid/Credit customers as per their agreed credit terms.
• Ensure timely deposit of collected payments (cash/cheque/online).
• Maintain accurate records of collections and submit reports daily.
• Coordinate with accounts for payment reconciliation.
• Resolve any payment disputes in coordination with the operations team.

3. Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with dispatch/operations to match truck requirements.
• Provide daily MIS on truck sourced, market rates, and payment collected.
• Escalate issues related to vehicle placement or customer delays.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in logistics/truck sourcing/transport brokerage preferred.
• Strong market knowledge and good network of transporters.
• Good communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Basic understanding of freight rates and logistics operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle field activities.
• Two-wheeler preferred for local travel.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
