The Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations of the pet clinic, providing excellent customer service to pet owners, scheduling appointments, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries about clinic services, appointments, and pet care information.
- Schedule and manage veterinary appointments efficiently.
- Welcome clients and their pets in a professional and friendly manner.
- Process payments, invoices, and billing using clinic management systems.
- Maintain and update patient records in the clinic software.
- Manage inventory and sales of pet food, medications, and accessories at the reception area.
- Respond to emails, WhatsApp messages, and online booking requests.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain clinic documentation.
- Coordinate with veterinarians and veterinary nurses to ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Requirements
- High school diploma or relevant administrative qualification.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, pet shop, or medical reception is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, MS Office, and clinic management software.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
