We're Hiring! Full-Time Veterinary Assistant

Tara Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We're searching for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and motivated to provide exceptional patient care while delivering outstanding customer service. If you're an experienced veterinary assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

• Previous veterinary assistant experience is required.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to accept constructive feedback and continually grow professionally.
• Compassion for animals and the people who love them.
• Ability to work closely with veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, fellow team members, and our local rescue organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians with patient care and treatments.
• Restrain and handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist during appointments.
• Assist with surgical procedures and patient recovery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.
• Communicate professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Support hospitalized patients and help ensure exceptional patient care throughout the day.
