Veterinary Assistant ( Paravet)

About the Role:

Utkarsh Global Foundation is looking for passionate and skilled Paravets to support

veterinary teams in small animal care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in basic

animal handling, vaccination, wound care, and medicine administration, playing a vital role

in ensuring quality treatment and animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinary doctors in routine checkups, treatments, and minor procedures.

• Administer medications and vaccinations to animals as per protocols.

• Perform IV (intravenous), IM (intramuscular), and SC (subcutaneous) administration of

medicines.

• Provide wound care and basic nursing support to small animals.

• Help in restraining and handling animals safely during procedures.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic and treatment area.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Diploma in Animal Husbandry or Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy or Diploma in

Veterinary Science.

• Fresher or minimum 1 year of experience as a Paravet.

• Experience in small animal clinics is an advantage.

• Must be able to inject medicines and vaccines to animals.

• Must be able to perform IV, IM, and SC administration of medicines.

• Must be able to provide wound care and basic animal nursing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
