  • Role: Veterinary Receptionist
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday. Rotating Saturdays (7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

Poland Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our recently renovated, full-service small animal hospital in beautiful Poland, Maine. As a well-established two-doctor practice, we are proud to provide exceptional patient care while creating a welcoming, supportive environment for both our clients and team members.

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phones and assist clients with scheduling appointments
  • Manage appointment scheduling and daily hospital workflow
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain and update patient medical records
  • Support client communication and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist the veterinary team with administrative and reception duties
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Help create a positive experience for every client and patient visit
What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring
  • Previous veterinary reception or veterinary hospital experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software systems
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or customer-facing medical setting is a plus
