At VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center, we are a growing veterinary urgent care network dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families. We’re seeking a Veterinary Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help us strengthen our brand presence, connect with our communities, and drive growth across multiple clinic locations.

Position Overview

The Veterinary Social Media & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that reflect our mission and culture. This role requires a background in veterinary medicine (urgent care preferred), combined with expertise in digital marketing, social media, and analytics. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments and with external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management
  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and messaging across all locations.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow community presence.
  • Digital Marketing & Advertising
  • Manage Google Ads campaigns for multiple clinic locations, focusing on targeted reach, engagement, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with website, phone, and other service providers to track and optimize keywords, SEO, and digital engagement.
  • Business Growth & Analytics
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to marketing, client acquisition, and engagement.
  • Generate regular reports to leadership with insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner closely with clinic leadership, practice managers, and external vendors to ensure alignment on marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-location campaigns to maintain brand consistency.
  • Take initiative on new projects and provide innovative ideas for growth and outreach.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Background in veterinary medicine (urgent care experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads management and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to understand and track business KPIs related to veterinary medicine.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-manage and take initiative.
  • Ability to work 40-45 hours on-site each week. This position requires interaction and some hands experience with the veterinary staff each day.
  • Must be willing to travel central Indiana to capture content at other locations 3-4 times a month.

Preferred:

  • Experience developing and managing content calendars.
  • Familiarity with veterinary urgent care workflows, client communications, and industry-specific challenges.
  • Previous collaboration with web/SEO/phone service providers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
