Veterinary Support Staff - Part or Full Time

We are currently looking for Full or Part-Time support staff for our clinics in New Albany and Jeffersonville. Job duties will primarily consist of cleaning and prepping facilities, as well as some light patient handling duties (training will be provided). Opportunity to train for more advanced positions over time for the right person.

• Must know what clean looks like, and be thorough about it
• Must be able to lift 40lbs, and spend 6 hours on your feet.
• Must be able to follow clear instructions, and recognize and respect the limits of your knowledge/training
• Some basic animal handling experience with dogs/cats is prefered, though training will be provided and this role may be limited.
• Must be a pleasant, decent human.

No weekends. Shifts may vary from 2-9 hours, but regular availability for scheduling at least three days a week is necessary for consideration. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level position in the animal care field at a great place to work, with very low turnover for those who get past the initial 2-month probationary period. It's an ideal opportunity for college students with an interest in the field, or just a neat-freak who likes animals!
