About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Analytics to lead the development of a next-generation data intelligence and insights platform—similar to Toluna Spark tailored for the Asian market. This leader will define the analytics vision, build scalable data systems, and drive product innovation that transforms how brands and businesses leverage data for decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines deep data science and analytics expertise with strategic product leadership and the entrepreneurial drive to build a platform from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities1. Product & Platform Strategy

  • Define and lead the analytics roadmap for a SaaS-based marketing and eCommerce intelligence platform.
  • Identify high-impact data sources (social, eCommerce, retail, digital marketing, CRM) to create unified insights for brands.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to build scalable tools for data visualization, benchmarking, and predictive analytics.

2. Data Infrastructure & Technology

  • Oversee the design of robust data pipelines integrating APIs, web scraping, and third-party data feeds.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and compliance with regional data privacy laws (GDPR, PDPA, etc.).
  • Evaluate and implement cutting-edge AI/ML techniques for trend forecasting, sentiment analysis, and performance modeling.

3. Analytics Leadership

  • Build and lead a world-class analytics organization spanning data engineering, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
  • Develop frameworks for first-party and third-party data enrichment, data quality management, and automated insight generation.
  • Establish analytical methodologies that drive actionable outcomes for B2B and eCommerce clients.

4. Market & Client Strategy

  • Collaborate with commercial and client teams to translate market needs into analytical products and dashboards.
  • Represent the analytics function in executive discussions, investor presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Guide clients in using insights for marketing optimization, category growth, and competitive intelligence.

5. Team Building & Culture

  • Attract, mentor, and retain top analytical and engineering talent across Asia.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven innovation, experimentation, and measurable impact.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 18+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or product analytics, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience building or scaling data platforms, analytics tools, or intelligence products (preferably SaaS or MarTech).
  • Strong technical foundation: proficiency in SQL, Python/R, data architecture, and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, eCommerce, and social listening ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI/ML applications such as NLP, computer vision, or predictive modeling preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and familiarity with the Asian digital landscape.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹5,000,000.00 - ₹6,000,000.00 per year
