We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Finance to help lead this evolution.
Position Overview
The Vice President, Finance will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a trusted partner to the CEO. This role will oversee all financial functions of the business, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance. The ideal candidate brings a blend of operational rigor, strategic thinking, and experience scaling a consumer products or retail-driven organization.
This is a highly visible role requiring both leadership and execution—someone who can build systems and processes while also rolling up their sleeves in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan

Provide financial insights and modeling to support decision-making across product, pricing, distribution, and market expansion

Serve as a key advisor on growth initiatives, capital allocation, and operational investments
Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes

Develop robust financial models to evaluate new business opportunities and scenarios

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive performance
Accounting & Financial Operations

Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting

Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes

Maintain compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements
Cash Management & Capital Strategy

Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization

Oversee banking relationships and financing strategies

Support fundraising efforts, including debt or equity financing, as needed
Process & Systems Development

Build and enhance financial infrastructure, including ERP systems, reporting tools, and internal controls

Implement scalable processes to support rapid growth and operational complexity

Drive continuous improvement across finance and cross-functional workflows
Team Leadership

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning

Partner cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams
Board & Investor Relations

Prepare board materials, financial reports, and presentations

Support communication with investors, lenders, and external stakeholders

Ensure transparency and alignment on company performance and strategy
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred

10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles in high-growth consumer products, CPG, retail, or e-commerce companies

Proven experience scaling financial operations in a fast-growing organization

Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills

Deep understanding of inventory, supply chain, and margin management in consumer products

Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment
Preferred Experience

Experience in a founder-led or privately held company

Exposure to omnichannel distribution (DTC, wholesale, retail)

Prior involvement in fundraising, M&A, or exit transactions
