Description:

Oversee strategy, policy development, and daily operations for IT and operational functions, ensuring alignment with Lifeworks short- and long-term organizational goals. Lead the implementation of data security best practices in compliance with HIPAA and applicable state regulations. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for facilities and transportation to promote safety, efficiency, and satisfaction for both employees and persons served.

Hours: Full-time; 40+ hours/week, Monday – Friday (Exempt)

Location: Lifeworks Services – Richfield / Hybrid

Compensation: $157,000 - $180,000

Bonus Eligible: Yearly

How you’ll be spending your time:

  • Defining and aligning annual and quarterly IT departmental objectives with broader organizational and program goals. Regularly tracking and communicating performance using metrics collaboratively developed with internal stakeholders and leadership. Leading the development and oversight of annual expense budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and strategic resource allocation.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and leadership to develop meaningful performance metrics. Providing consistent reporting on outcomes and deliver actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leading the development, implementation, and ongoing refinement of the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with resource budgets and timelines. Effectively communicating progress and updates across all levels of the organization to foster transparency and engagement.
  • Overseeing the selection, development, and performance management of direct reports through coaching, training, clear work direction, and constructive feedback. Recognizing and reinforcing high performance while addressing areas for improvement. Providing mentorship to high-potential talent across the organization, modeling excellence, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Recommending and managing external vendors in a way that builds Lifeworks internal capacity and supplements staff talents with specialized skills needed to achieve goals.
  • Expanding professional and technical knowledge both in the industry and profession by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and personal networking. Translating this knowledge into deployable initiatives that improve outcomes for individuals served.
  • Serving as an active member of the Operations Council, contributing strategic ideas and solutions to key challenges, projects, and operational initiatives. Foster cross-functional collaboration both within span of control and beyond areas of direct responsibility to enhance Lifeworks operations and teamwork, all in support of delivering person-centered outcomes for the individuals served.
  • Following safety procedures and assisting in identifying safety needs for self and others. Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or computer related field with ten years or more experience managing IT Operations.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
