Vice President Information Technology (Oil and Gas / Engineering)

We are seeking a strategic and high-caliber Vice President of Information Technology to spearhead our technological initiatives and ensure alignment with the organization’s long-term business objectives. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in leading large-scale ERP implementations and complex infrastructure projects, combined with a strong acumen in digital transformation, emerging technologies, and artificial intelligence. This executive-level role is pivotal in driving innovation, operational excellence, and digital maturity across the enterprise.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with corporate vision and objectives, fostering innovation and operational efficiency.
• Lead the planning, execution, and governance of complex ERP deployments and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, integrating AI, automation, and advanced analytics to optimize business processes and enhance competitive positioning.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management to protect organizational assets and ensure resilience.
• Cultivate and lead high-performing IT teams, promoting professional development, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership and key stakeholders to identify technological opportunities, evaluate emerging trends, and translate insights into strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrable success in managing complex ERP implementations and large-scale infrastructure projects within a global or enterprise environment.
• Deep knowledge of digital transformation strategies, including AI, machine learning, and automation applications.
• Proven leadership experience at the executive level, with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering innovative technology solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with utmost confidentiality and discretion at the highest levels of the organization.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MSc, or related advanced degree) in Business Administration, Technology Management, or relevant discipline is highly preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, TOGAF, CISSP, or equivalent) are advantageous.
