Compensation:

Base Salary: $80,000 – $150,000

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $240,000 – $330,000 or higher

OTE reflects expected annual earnings when performance goals are met, combining base and performance-based bonuses tied to closed capital.

(0.25% for intermediated equity)

Payment Schedule: Fourth Friday of each month

Position Overview

DWG seeks a Vice President of Investor Relations & Capital Markets to lead capital raises across individual acquisitions, fund vehicles, and roll-up strategies. The candidate must be driven, highly organized, and relationally gifted with a warm, professional demeanor. They will support deal-specific equity campaigns, maintain investor communications, manage CRM hygiene, and coordinate post-close servicing. They will also help shape the firm’s investor culture through dinners, gifting, and touchpoint follow-ups.

This is a high-impact, execution-heavy role for a professional who thrives in a founder-led, high-velocity investment office and brings emotional intelligence, clear communication, and a strong moral compass to every investor interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Management

  • Raise equity into DWG’s deal-by-deal syndications and fund
  • Manage and expand CRM of 350+ active investor contacts
  • Build a pipeline of repeat HNW, family office, and small institutional capital
  • Track capital stack, soft/hard commitments, and funding progress in real time

Investor Servicing & Operations

  • Coordinate with CPA and accounting team to ensure distributions, escalations, and tax-related support are on schedule and proactively communicated
  • Support and sometimes manage the flow of PPMs, operating agreements, subscription documents, and side letters with legal

Marketing & Events

  • Collaborate with our marketing lead on investor-facing materials (pitch decks, offering memoranda, quarterly updates)
  • Create positive brand momentum by assisting with investor dinners, swag, client birthdays, and loyalty/retention programs
  • Post and share company credibility updates across LinkedIn and other investor-facing platforms in coordination with marketing

Investor Relations Administration

  • Own onboarding and portal entry into SYNPRO (or Juniper Square equivalent)
  • Log all investor activity, inquiries, status, and funding timelines
  • Interface with bank partners to coordinate investor equity flow during escrow
  • Attend weekly CEO sessions to track project-level IR compliance

Required Qualifications

  • 3–10 years in investor relations, real estate private equity, or capital raising
  • Licensed in real estate (CA or TX preferred), or direct CRE deal experience
  • Ability to raise $12M to 35M+ in year one with existing investor base
  • Deep familiarity with cap rates, DSCR, NOI, and lease types
  • Highly competent with CRM software, Excel, Canva, PowerPoint, and investor portals
  • Strong writing, follow-up, and team collaboration skills
  • Located within 25 minutes of a DWG office (LA or Texas)
  • Able to self-manage and execute in a boutique, high-accountability environment
