Vice President, Marketing and Business Insights (Head of Marketing)

About the Role:
The Vice President, Marketing & Business Insights Analytics leads UniGroup’s enterprise marketing and analytics functions, reporting directly to the Chief Growth and Experience Officer. This executive will shape a comprehensive marketing strategy across consumer, corporate, and government segments while ensuring brand consistency across UniGroup’s family of brands and strengthening the company’s reputation with its cooperative network.
In this dual role, the Vice President is responsible not only for marketing strategy, brand development, digital campaigns, and customer engagement, but also for advancing UniGroup’s Business Insights Analytics function. This leader will oversee how the organization collects, analyzes, and uses data to guide strategic decisions, uncover opportunities, and improve performance across sales, operations, customer experience, and member relations.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can combine strategic vision, creativity, and data-driven problem solving to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and turn insights into measurable business growth.

What You’ll Do:
Marketing Leadership
  • Lead a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on accountability, innovation, and performance.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that strengthens brand equity and market share.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and digital campaigns that build trust and loyalty with customers, agents, and industry stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to design enablement tools and programs that support member growth and new business opportunities.
  • Manage marketing budgets and vendor relationships to ensure innovation, efficiency, and maximum ROI.
  • Leverage insights and analytics to guide campaigns and continually improve results.
Business Insights & Analytics
  • Define and lead UniGroup’s enterprise analytics strategy, turning data into a strategic asset that drives smarter decisions.
  • Collect, validate, and interpret business data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities across operations, sales, and customer experience.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that improve profitability and performance.
  • Partner across the business to define key metrics, monitor performance, and identify emerging trends.
  • Enable customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through data-informed strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in marketing, business analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence
  • Proven success integrating data and analytics into marketing strategies that drive measurable growth
  • Strong expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, and customer engagement
  • Technical competency with analytics and business intelligence tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with executives, agents, and vendors
  • Strategic, innovative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
