🌎 Location: Pennsylvania (5 days on-site)

🚀 Role: Permanent

💰 Salary: $220-270k + bonus

Overview

Our client is a growing player in the global Real Estate and Data Center Development market and is arguably one of the most exciting and forward-thinking developers in the US. They’re now looking to onboard a Vice President of Construction & Development to progress their gigawatt-scale Data Center build-outs across Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level direction to the GC and other vendors across several sites within a region
• Apply advanced knowledge of Data Center development, design and construction
• Use financial models to gauge the feasibility of projects
• Draft agreements and edit legal documents related to design and construction
• Develop and coordinate project schedules and execute sustainability plans including an understanding of relevant Data Center metrics (e.g: PUE, WUE)
• Utilise extensive Microsoft Office skills, with cloud-based project management software skills a plus (Autodesk, Procure, Construction Cloud)
• Communicate effectively across multiple projects and meet detailed deadlines
• Interpret federal, state and local ordinances, regulations and past approvals pertaining to the development of assets

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, engineering, architecture/planning
• Significant experience in large-scale ground-up core and shell or fit-out builds ($100m+)
• Project management (PMP) and construction management (CCM) certifications preferred
• 5+ years of leadership experience in development, design, engineering or construction, preferably in hyperscale data center projects
• Experience with project risk management and mitigation strategies
