Position Summary:
As a key member of the Executive Team, the VP of Finance will report to the CFO and assume a strategic role in the overall financial
management of the organization as Freddy's continues their growth. This role will lead a team focused on the financial analysis and planning function with a heavy
emphasis on data and reporting. The goal is to continually improve our processes while continuing to support the enterprise. Role includes direct responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis, investor and lender relationships.
This role in in-office in our Wichita Support Center.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and mentoring to finance and business intelligence teams
- Ensure timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
- A strategic thought-partner, playing a critical role working with CFO and leadership on new business ventures and projects.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies, regulatory actions, mergers/acquisitions and
other strategic growth levers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to best identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with private equity team and other financial institutions.
- Board-level reporting process
- Lead processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
- Provide and implement recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities
- Manage cash flow and the treasury function
- Analyze and provide critical financial data to the leadership team and participate in developing strategic priorities, decision making, leading innovation and managing change.
- Analyze financial results and develop strategic and tactical recommendations based on data.
- Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into operations and business plans.
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting / Finance required
- MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
- 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, with demonstrated expertise in managing significant growth
- Demonstrated experience leading an accounting/finance function
- Strong relationship builder with both internal and external franchise partners and other stakeholders
