Position Summary

The Vice President of Human Resources, Field Operations will be the champion of our Experience Curators and culture across all properties. This role is responsible for ensuring a consistent, positive curator experience throughout our hotels and restaurants while balancing compliance, performance, and business growth. The VP will partner closely with field and property leaders to strengthen curator relations, foster a culture of engagement and belonging, and build people practices that empower team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culture & Curator Relations
  • Serve as the voice and advocate for curators across the field, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Build and maintain a culture of respect, inclusion, and collaboration across properties.
  • Partner with property leadership to proactively address curator concerns, resolve conflicts, and strengthen trust.
  • Lead initiatives that improve curator engagement, reduce turnover, and reinforce the company’s core values.
  • Leadership & Partnership
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to field operations leaders, aligning HR strategy with business goals while prioritizing people and culture.
  • Coach and mentor field and regional HR teams and field leadership on effective leadership and people practices.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring values are consistently reflected in hiring, recognition, and leadership behaviors.
  • Talent Development & Retention
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding strategies that emphasize cultural fit and long-term retention.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to deliver training that enhances leadership skills, service excellence, and inclusive workplace practices.
  • Drive succession planning and career development opportunities for curators at all levels.
  • Operational HR Excellence
  • Standardize and simplify HR processes to ensure compliance and consistency across all locations.
  • Monitor curator relations trends, provide data-driven insights, and implement responsive strategies.
  • Ensure property HR and leadership are equipped with the right tools, training, and resources to effectively support their teams.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Ensure pay practices and benefits programs support retention and engagement.
  • Guide property leadership in implementing incentive and recognition programs that reinforce culture.
Qualifications

  • SHRM Certification preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role in hospitality, multi-state.
  • Demonstrated success in strengthening culture and employee relations across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance, with the ability to balance legal requirements and employee advocacy.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with operations leaders to foster high performing, engaged teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
  • A visible, approachable leader who thrives in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
  • Requires travel.
