Vice President of Sales - Medical Device

At Comfort Release, we are solving a pervasive yet overlooked challenge in healthcare: the balance between secure medical dressing adhesion and painless, trauma-free removal. Traditional medical adhesives lead to 1.5 million Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injuries (MARSI) annually, causing patient suffering and driving up hidden costs for hospital systems.

We have engineered a proprietary "switch" technology, the only one of its kind, that allows for reliable adhesion and trauma-free removal, virtually eliminating skin tears. We are currently building the enterprise engine to bring this new standard of care to every major health system in the country.

The Role: Player-Coach & Architect

We are seeking a powerhouse commercial leader to transition us from founder-led sales to a sophisticated, process-driven enterprise organization. This is not a "management-only" role; in the first 6–12 months, you will be the lead hunter, cracking open Tier 1 IDNs and Academic Medical Centers while simultaneously building the national commercial engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Execution: Personally lead high-level negotiations with Value Analysis Committees (VAC), Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs), and Procurement Executives.
  • Sales Architecture: Design the national sales roadmap, including territory definitions and recruitment of an elite team of enterprise reps.
  • Clinical Value Proposition: Refine our messaging to align with the "Triple Aim": improving patient experience, improving health, and reducing non-reimbursed costs.
  • Revenue Operations: Implement CRM discipline (Salesforce/HubSpot) and the KPI dashboard required for a predictable national rollout.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of excellence in medical device or enterprise health-tech sales.
  • Leadership: At least 3+ years in a Director or VP-level role with a history of building sales teams from the ground up.
  • IDN Mastery: Documented history of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with 6–18 month sales cycles.
  • The "Hunter" DNA: A track record of personally closing 7-figure deals and the grit to "build the plane while flying it".

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
