Vice President Operations

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize the performance of multiple projects and business units. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring efficient project delivery, and enhancing overall business performance. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, commercial acumen, and extensive experience within construction, infrastructure, or landscape sectors .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across all operational functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• Oversee full project lifecycle execution, ensuring delivery within time, budget, quality, and safety standards
• Establish and implement operational frameworks, policies, and KPIs to improve efficiency and performance
• Lead resource planning across multiple projects, including manpower, equipment, and materials
• Drive cost optimization strategies and monitor overall financial performance of operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements across project sites
• Lead and develop senior project teams, including performance management and mentoring
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor performance, and vendor management
• Implement robust risk management processes to identify and mitigate operational risks
• Monitor project performance through reporting, audits, and regular site engagement
• Support business development and tendering efforts with operational input and execution strategies
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management , or related discipline (Master’s preferred)
• 20+ years of experience in operations leadership within construction, infrastructure, or landscape industries
• Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-project operations
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of project delivery, commercial management, procurement, and quality systems
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and drive organizational success
