Job Title: Vice Principal

Reports To: Principal / Chairman
Job Summary
The Vice Principal will support the Principal in overseeing the academic, administrative, and co-curricular functions of the school. The role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
- Supervise teaching staff and ensure effective curriculum implementation.
- Monitor lesson plans, teaching methodologies, and classroom performance.
- Introduce innovative practices to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Ensure effective assessment, evaluation, and reporting systems.
Administration & Operations
- Oversee daily school operations, discipline, and adherence to policies.
- Assist in staff recruitment, induction, and professional development.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and compliance with education boards.
- Coordinate school events, assemblies, and functions.
Student Development
- Ensure holistic development of students—academic, co-curricular, and behavioral.
- Address student issues related to academics, discipline, or well-being.
- Promote leadership, values, and a positive school culture.
Parent & Community Engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and school policies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders for school growth.
Leadership Support
- Act as the Principal’s representative in their absence.
- Provide inputs for school development, policies, and strategic planning.
- Ensure smooth coordination between staff, management, and students.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education or relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/administrative role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor teachers and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: As per school norms, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
