Role Summary

As our Video Content Creator and On-Camera Host, you will be the face and creative force behind our YouTube and Instagram channels. You’ll lead the creation of travel and culture stories across Pakistan, and produce engaging, progressive news segments that spark intrigue and excitement about the destination. This role is based in Karachi and offered on an annual contract, with opportunities to travel across Pakistan for filming assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Hosting & Presentation: Serve as the on-camera host for all content, delivering engaging, authentic narrations and interviews.
• Content Ideation & Scripting: Develop fresh, immersive story ideas and write scripts for travel, culture, and news segments.
• Video Production: Shoot and edit cinematic, modern travel videos, including shorts, reels, long-form episodes, and drone footage.
• Equipment Management: Arrange, maintain, and operate filming equipment; coordinate logistics for shoots and travel.
• News Sourcing & PR: Source, vet, and curate progressive news stories; build strong relationships with local news sources and PR contacts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design and marketing teams to align content with brand strategy and visual aesthetics.
• Content Formats: Produce host-led and voice-only narrations, podcasts, and documentary-style videos, ensuring consistency in style and tone.
• Logistics Coordination: Manage shoot schedules, travel arrangements, and permissions for filming at various locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Exceptional on-camera presence and natural storytelling ability
• Proven experience in video production – filming, editing, and post-production (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
• Strong scripting, research, and content ideation skills
• Familiarity with drone videography and cinematic filming techniques
• Ability to source, vet, and present news stories authentically
• Excellent organisational and logistical skills for managing equipment and travel
• Experience working collaboratively within creative and marketing teams
• Fluent Modern English; Urdu and other local languages are a plus

Preferred Experience

• Previous hosting or content creation for travel, culture, or news channels (e.g. Nas Daily, Eva Zu Beck, Drew Binsky)
• Portfolio of cinematic travel or documentary-style video work
• Experience in podcasting and multi-format storytelling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs120,000.00 per month
