Video Content Creator

Montana State University Communications supports and promotes MSU’s activities through expert and creative communications. We provide a wide range of services to the university community through our operational units: Montana PBS, the MSU News Service, MSU Creative Services, MSU Web and Digital Communications, University Marketing, and Visual Media.

Montana State University was founded in 1893 as Montana’s first land-grant university and is Montana’s largest university, the largest research entity in Montana and a Carnegie top-tier research university.

Reporting to the director of visual media, this position is responsible for creating video pieces for use across all Montana State University digital properties and social media. The video content creator is a critical member of the University Communications creative team and should be proactive about suggesting new projects, introducing new technologies, and creating content that supports the university’s strategic goals.

An online portfolio with a minimum of three examples of video content that demonstrates the ability to film, record audio and tell a story must be included in application documents.
